Inspired Learning

In addition to approaching students from infancy through grade school with a distinct perspective on their  needs and capacities throughout the stages of development, Waldorf Education℠ is differentiated in the following ways:

Experiential Learning

Waldorf activates the senses and creates deeper learning using the visual, textural, and performing arts -  drawing, painting, sewing, knitting, woodwork, drama, music and more.  Waldorf also cultivates academics artistically through practical activities such as baking, gardening, or building projects to awaken each student’s thinking, creativity and will.   Life and learning are enriched by frequent and direct interaction between students, the world and each other.

Collaborative Success

Waldorf fosters the spirit of teamwork and achievement among classmates. Each student is honoured and encouraged as  an individual with limitless potential and unique contributions to offer the group and the world.

Relationship Building

Waldorf nurtures a sense of connection, support and responsibility within the community. The community of students with their families, teachers, administration, and Board of Directors are engaged together and as distinct groups in a variety of productive, social, and intellectual activities.

Anthroposophy

Waldorf education evolves from a profound understanding of the human spirit and human development, trusting the wisdom of the human being.
