Welcome to the Trillium Waldorf School
The Trillium Waldorf School is a non-denominational non-profit charitable organization, dedicated to providing quality education for students from early childhood to Grade Eight. This education is based on the philosophy of Rudolf Steiner, who held the belief that children learn best in different ways at different stages of maturity through an educational system that cultivates the development of the head, heart, and hands.
The Faculty works to create a warm and supportive atmosphere where a love of learning, a sense of wonder, and a reverence for life are cultivated. The faculty also endeavours to prepare students to creatively meet the challenges of the 21st century by nurturing students' skills as critical and compassionate thinkers connected to the world of nature and to the wider world. In addition, the faculty attempts to equip the students not only with the knowledge and skills every school seeks to provide, but also encourages the students to seek those truths that can stimulate social responsibility, enhance personal relationships, and enlighten individual destiny.
The school is self-administered, and is organized around the faculty of teachers, the board of trustees, the administration, and the parents, who all work together for the common goal of providing a rich educational experience for the community as a whole.
