'Parent & Child' Program- Setting the Foundation

Kindergarten - A Gentle Beginning

  • Promotes imagination through purposeful play using natural materials.
  • Strengthens the child's intention through positive and joyful use of imitation and rhythm.
  • Enhances the child's capacity for listening and speaking through storytelling, songs, games and conversations where a clear and living language is the essence.

Grade School - A Guided Journey

  • Fosters an enduring love of learning through a guided journey, ideally with the same class teacher, where the classroom atmosphere is one of gentle authority and trust.
  • Engages the child's head, heart, and hands through weaving together classically-based academics with a wide range of arts and handcrafts while emphasizing respect, wonder and reverence for nature and the human being.
  • Develops critical thinking through an interdisciplinary approach and in accordance with the stages of child development.
